What’s an automobile trim level?

It is a term used to define which level of features or what kind of equipment used in a specific vehicle. Those features and specs that are present in a specific option called trim level. Some features/specs are generic and available in all trim levels.

Why a vehicle comes in different trim levels?

Different people have different priorities. Some people as and give priority to a car feature. They can’t compromise on these desired features.

Maybe these desired features of a specific car aren’t important to other people because they have different priorities. That’s the reason why auto manufacturers make different trim levels in one model of a car.

Taking the example of Toyota Camry which has 5 different levels L, LE, XLE, SE, XSE. XSE isn’t available yet in Toyota Camry 2018 in Pakistan.

If you’re in the country where security is the main issue, you should go for LE or XSE options otherwise L is also a good option.

If you want to enjoy the mechanical performance of V6 engine & other available features offered by Toyota Camry and you’ve enough money so go for XSE. But bad news for Pakistanis because Toyota Camry 2018 in Pakistan don’t have XSE trim level.

It all depends what’s your requirement and what’s your budget. So, do deep research on trim levels before buying a car. All the best ?
