How do we describe a car? Simply, a vehicle used for travelling and fulfilling your commute needs or sometimes just for the sake of sports. That’s it! Yet, there is so much into this one vehicle, this one piece of thing that results in a brain exercise for both enthusiasts and non enthusiasts in terms of judging the vehicle.
The only thing perhaps that differentiates two cars is their specifications; one is preferred more than the other based on everyone’s needs and wants.
This article tells you about one such fastest car in the world that is solely judged for speed, a specification that mainly concerns a racer!
Venom F5, a new hyper car designed to be crazily fast on the road than any car seen and driven ever before.
One may definitely assume that the world’s fastest car would have been manufactured by the world’s most recognized brand, well, it’s funny that this car is built by an American automaker company ‘Hennessey Special Vehicles’ that came into existence in 2017.
This car is the first vehicle to be built in-house by the company.
· Carbon fiber chassis
· 7.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine
· 1,600 horsepower
· Active aero 0.33 coefficient of drag
· Curb weight = 2950 lbs
According to the reports provided by the company, F5 will move from 0 to 249 mph and back to 0 in less than 30 seconds. That’s about how long a normal sports car would take to get from 0 to 100 mph.
“We’ve designed Venom F5 to be timeless so that in 25 years it will still have a level of performance and design that will be unmatched,” said John Hennessey, company Founder and CEO. We expect the Venom F5, named for the most powerful tornado speed winds on the Fujita scale, to be the first road car capable of achieving more than 300 mph and have worked closely with Pennzoil to get us across the finish line.” (News18, 2017 report)
You may definitely be curious to know what will such a speedy car cost, here it is! The company plans 24 examples to be built with a base price $1.6 million US dollars per car.
This fastest car in the world came out with a nice bright yellow paint and later Hennessey released a number of other color options through Instagram posts. This were:
· Glacier Blue
· McLaren Orange
· Crystal Blue
· Red Rocker
· Vader Black
· Slate gray
